Too often companies feel that advertising is so simple that they can do it themselves. While a company may be able to throw together a decent ad on their own, to create an ad that will stick with customers long after they see it, advertising design firms are the way to go.

Good Advertising Design takes into account years of history and research. There have been many effective advertising campaigns over the years. There have been others that have failed miserably. An advertising design firm can draw upon the history of the advertising industry to help streamline the ideas they present to their clients.

Advertising design firms also have their own experiences to draw upon when creating advertising for their clients. Not every idea an advertising creative comes up with is a good one. It often takes years of experience before an advertiser can consistently separate the good ideas from the bad ones. Companies setting out to create their own advertising will often have no idea (no matter what they think) what it takes to make a truly great ad.

There is one benefit to creating advertising "in-house." It saves money. If a company is operating on truly razor thin margins, they may have no choice but to create their own advertising. If, however, they have just a few hundred dollars to spare, they can quickly turn that small investment into solid cash flow by handing their ad campaign to a seasoned professional.
